Paintingbuddha Adventskalender - Door #1

The Painting Buddha "Hoopy Holidays" Calender!

"The 21 Days of Hoopy Holidays - Door #1"

An "Adventskalender" is a German tradition. Starting December 1st, children open a door each morning and usually find a piece of chocolate or a toy behind it. It's like a 'countdown' to December 24th.

"A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens is the basis for the "Three Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present & Future" - another famous Holiday tradition - and we have decided to create a fusion of these different traditions for your entertainment ;)

Well, if you follow us for a while, you are not surprised if we only have 21 doors, are you? ;)

Door #1: Teaser Video

Ghosts of Past, Present and Future Painting Buddha

In the next 21 days, the Bruddha Ghosts of Painting Buddha past, present and future will walk you through the past (a year in review), the present (what are we currently working on) and the future (what do we have in store for 2014?). And since we like to do things differently from the mainstream, you can open our doors every night ;)

21 doors = 21x Win

So what awaits you behind the 21 doors of our Hoopy Holiday Adventskalender?

Well, first of all, a lot of WIN* - and that in multiple dimensions! Every door will give you the chance to win a hoopy prize. The main prize worth about 1000$ will be revealed on December 21st and drawn on January 5th. Also, we will take the opportunity to answer your questions with a video every Saturday!

DOOR #2 on Monday, December 2nd, will explain in detail how all of this works.

42 is the answer, but what is the question?

The main reason we run this event is not to give away more stuff. We do that, because we love it ;)

No, after a little over 1 year of Painting Buddha (the 'Painting Revolution' started on November 14th 2013 and the first season was revealed on December 21st, 2013 (End of the world, btw)) we want to take the opportunity to say THANK YOU to all our followers, subscribers and supporters.

The Ghost of the Past

The Ghost of the Past will review the first year of Paintingbuddha for you - with all its events, workshops, travels, competitions and so on.

We will also give you some unprecedented behind-the-scenes information on how we work, as a company, what we do for you and - possibly most importantly - why we did all of this.

The Ghost of the Present

We will talk about some projects we are working on right now and which will be released in the very near future - and we want to get you involved in making these projects with us! Some sneak peeks might be involved and you can probably even save a buck or two ;)

The Ghost of the Future

Making some of the best Miniature Painting instruction DVDs on the market is only one of our goals. For 2014 we have some other big projects in the pipeline - and again - we invite you to get involved in the process so we can work better for you. Cause that's what we do ;) Our final goal is to grow the hobby, crow the community and with that increase the level of awesomeness that is miniature painting ;)

Questions & Answers

Every Saturday we will prepare a video in which we will answer your questions.
Behind door #2, tomorrow evening, we will explain in detail how that works ;)

So with that we leave you quite dizzy with anticipation about what awaits you behind door #2 ;)

"SHARE & ENJOY"

*There are still a few outstanding winners from our last big giveaway, if you have not received your prize yet, don't fret - everything will be sent out by the end of this week ;)

  1. Wow! You have my interest. I am really looking forward for the next 21 days! Nice video by the way...you have become a real master in editing and "special-effecting", Zaphod.
Your "Adventzkalender" made my day. I am still at work...Many people fell off too many stairs because of too much "glühvine" which is not good for their health, too...and the night is still young...Please Ghost of the future, help me to survive this duty.
Best regards to the PB HQ & Team,
    Skyle
