Win a signed copy of Forge World's first Primarch Angron

At Golden Demon 2012 in the UK Forge World announced their new (blockbuster) line of the Horus Heresy series. Not only did they release one of the most beautiful 40k rule addition books that was ever released (70GBP; review coming tomorrow, I think), but they also released their first ever model of a Primarch - The Primarch of the World Eaters Angron (50GBP). Or Angry Angron, as I call him. 

Both the book and the miniature were strictly limited to 200 copies at the event - one copy per customer. Through my presidential skills ("these are not the droids you are looking for") I was able to aquire TWO of the Angron boxes and will now give one away to YOU. And while I was at it, I got Simon Egan, the designer of Angron to SIGN your copy to make it even more rare.

About Followers and why bloggers love them

Some of you know that I do random giveaways every now and then. Next one will be 200 followers or 42000 views (whatever comes first). On something as desireable as Angron (just check Ebay, its crazy!) I would like to ask all participants for a favor in return. 

It is said that "an actor's reward is applause". For a blogger you could say "a blogger's reward are followers". Every single new follower means a lot to us.

  Many of you already follow me - and in the two months since I started to make this blog (and some yet mysterious, unrevealed and rather top-secret activity) my full time job it has been so much fun! Over 150 followers in two months for a niche blog like this is outstanding, I think. The Games Day UK Coverage got us over 5000 views within 24 hours. 5000! You can believe me that this kind of success makes this blog VERY enjoyable :) So again, thank you so much!

Why you should follow this blog and what to expect in the future

This blog is still new. You probably noticed a lack of overall direction and variety with the exception of two areas: 

- Event reports, pictures and videos

- Giveaways

Both of these areas will remain core essentials of this blog. In the long run you can expect many more giveaways. Why? Well, I know I love free stuff, and I figure some of you (if not all) do, too :D

Also, I will travel to as many events as I can possible afford to go to (travelling is very expensive, especially if you stash bags full of GW & Forgeworld stuff every time you go...). Among the 2012 events that I will report from are Massive Voodoo Painting Class, Hussar 2012 painting competition in Poland, Games Day France 2012, Mont San Salvino and probably a few more...

But this is not all. Actually far from it! The motto of this blog is "masterminis.net - where we learn to be a better painter". And you can expect a lot of new content in this direction. I started with Tutorial Tuesday (and kinda dropped the ball already due to equipment woes *rolleyes*), but by the end of this year, I plan that at least 50% if not more of this blog will be devoted to improving your painting skills - with the goal of helping you to achieve a high level competition painting.

And last but not least my forbidden secret project of mystery. We are working very hard right now to unveil a project that I guarantee will interest all of you. We are confident that we can reveal this information somewhere around the end of November. I know we are excited about it - and I think you will be, too :)

-  directly on Facebook: If you have a facebook account, you can also share the appropriate post on my Facebook Page (its pinned to the top and says that sharing this makes you eligible ;))
-  Create a post linking this page on your own Blog with a few words, what this comp is all about (winning Angron).
-  if you do not have any of the above:

• You should! :D Join painting communities. Seriously! Its fun!
