Greetings everyone!
Another weekend full of reports from international events is ahead of us. I know, Eindhoven is not really that far away from Germany, but it still counts as international ;)
On Saturday, I will be visiting the DUZI (Duisburger Zinnmesse), which unlike its name suggests is not in Duisburg, but in Wesel, in the western parts of Germany. It is the 30th year of the DUZI and it feels like the website has not really changed much in since the days of HTML 0.9. Its a small event that due to many factors has been declining in attendence quite drastically over the years. But it remained a great spot for hunters of rare and OOP miniatures (aka "my preciousssss!") , all kinds of basing materials, splinths and so on. Since it is right off the way to Eindhoven, from Berlin a 700km drive, I use the opportunity to drop in on Saturday, stay at a hotel . Warsaw with the Hussar 2012 was 700km heading straight east, Eindhoven will be 700km heading straight west. Aaaaaah, fuel prices... :(

Sunday I will visit the Scale Modell Challenge in Eindhoven. It is going to be the first time for me, so I don't know what to expect. But I heard some really great things about the event. Check out their website for more info.
I just hope that I will feel better tomorrow as right now I am suffering from a severe cold. Don't wanna drive 700km one way coughing and sneezing :D

Ein weiters Wochenende mit Berichten von Internationalen Events steht bevor! Nun ja, Eindhoven ist nicht wirklich weit von Deutschland, aber es zählt immer noch als international ;)
Am Samstag werde ich die DUZI (Duisburger Zinnmesse) besuchen, welche - wie der Titel vermuten lässt NICHT in Duisburg, sondern in Wesel ausgetragen wird. Die DUZI gibt es seit 30 Jahren und irgendwie fühlt es sich an, als habe sich die Webseite seit den Zeiten von HTML 0.9 auch nicht wirklich weiterentwickelt. Die DUZI ist eine recht kleine Veranstaltung, die auf Grund vieler Faktoren über die Jahre deutlich an Zuspruch verloren hat. Aber es bleibt weiterhin eine gute Quelle für Jäger limitierter und nicht mehr produzierter Zinnschätzchen (aka "my preciousssss!"), Basing-Materialien, Bases Szenerie usw... Da die DUZI auf dem Weg nach Eindhoven liegt (700km von Berlin) werde ich am Samstag mal bei der DUZI reinschauen und am Sonntag dann nach Eindhoven fahren. Warschau mit dem Hussar 2012 war 700km gerade nach Osten. Eindhoven ist 700km gerade nach Westen... Aaaaah, Benzinkosten... :(

Am Sonntag gehts dann nach Eindhoven zur Scale Model Challenge. Ich fahre da zum ersten Mal hin, da weiß ich also noch nicht, was mich erwartet. Aber ich habe ne Menge guter Dinge von der SMC gehört - seht mal auf ihre Webseite.
Ich hoffe nur, dass es mir morgen besser geht, da ich im Moment unter einer bösen Erkältung leide... Ich hab keine Lust 700km in einer Tour zu Husten und zu Schniefen :D
