REVOLUTION UPDATE - Shop online

Thanks to all of you who already bought our DVD set - 95% of you went for the "supporter edition" - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

After the Holidays we will tell you how we give 42% of the profits of our product BACK TO YOU.

Nach den Feiertagen werde ich euch erzählen, wie wir 42% der Gewinne wieder an EUCH zurückgeben :)

    It's a pretty awesome package. Looking forward to see what else you've got lined up.

    Can you tell me/us how long the DvDs are... approximately?

      Yes. Right now we think that each DVD case will consist of TWO DVDs... So anywhere between 5-8 hours. If necessary we will pump it up to THREE DVDs per case, but we honestly try to give you INFORMATION only and not try to make it as long as possible. Shorter is sometimes better ;) Noone wants to wittness 42 hours of painting live ;) (Except for me maybe)...

      So minimum: 2x2 DVDs. Maximum 2x3 DVDs. In the Supporter's Edition +1 "making of" DVD ;)

      Honestly, when I read this, I think it is insane, too ^^

    EPIC. wonderfully crafted minis that are screaming to be painted i wants it now , will be ordering first week in january will come just in time for my birthday

    I am really happy to see that the weeks of madness on your blog has passed and that your idea and product is really something nice! I will get in touch with you in the new year via telephone ... Me was so scared of these weeks of madness you pulled your readers through in the last months ... now this looks like something very well planned and organised. I missed that in the past!     I just got a chance to check out the shop!
    Looking good! One thing though, as I was about to buy the supporter pack, I noticed that there is no non-vat option for overseas purchasers?
    Will this be something that will be available at some point?

      Thank you for your feedback!

      As far as VAT is concerned - right now we don't plan a non-vat option. I will sit down with my tax attorney after christmas and we will weigh our options. Anything from Non-Profit-Organization (unlikely, I think) to no VAT will be discussed.

      We will find the best solution for you, I promise ;)

    looks really cool. Also Video is awesome...

    only point is the shipping....buying for 164,- bucks to get free shipping is radiciolus cause at the moment in should have to buy 2 limited boxes or 4 normal boxes to get it....not very business friendly as the most INet stores have their shipping free when you reach 50,- euros....thats a point you should think about agin....

      Hey Michael - you are right.

      BUT I think one thing to consider is that most businesses would sell this box for 150 or 200$. We are cutting corners where we can to be as fair as possible. If we sold three 42€ Boxes with no S&H we would make next to nothing. ;)

      This was intended to encourage groups of people (like we often do on the forums) to order as a group. Its easier for us and we can pass on that little 'cost break' to our supporters.

    Looks very nice and is a great thing. Two painters with different styles on the same minis is a really cool idea. Did not expect it.

    For the next season I think you will have Georg "battle" Ben. It is to obvious. :-)

    I was a little confused due to...
    * the 10€ shipping I must pay for germany. Da fuq?
    * Url is messed up. The shop is redirected to: http://shopware.p181909.webspaceconfig.de

    Are you going to release the vid only on dvd or will there also be a downloadable version?

    Stop! 1080p on DVD? Might bring my DVD playe in real trouble. Is it correct that the DVD are inteded to be watched on PC (and Mac and iPad and Adroid tablet and Android phone and Microsoft Surface?)

      Hey :)

      Thanks for your feedback.

      1) 10€ shipping is a flat rate. For season 2 we will customize it to match better for all countries. Right now the Box will be rather massive - and if we cram more stuff inside, we might have to send it for 10€ in Europe (there are locations where we KNOW it will be more).

      2) URL: In order to make the shop accessible regardless of DNS rerouting we currently have the 'native' name. This will be changed after Christmas. Also the 'www.' in front of paintingbuddha is currently not resolved correctly.

      3) We do not plan a downloadable version for the first 2 seasons. We have other options in mind for Season 3 and following. Please stay tuned :)

      4) 1080p: That is a valid concern. We will make sure that everyone can watch these DVDs. Maybe a Blue Ray option for Season 2 could solve the problem. I will keep you posted on what we find out.

    Wow, this thing is amazing! I really love it, can't wait to see more about it. I WANT IT NOW :) Miniatures are soooo cool and the idea of the two DVD's that shows everithing from two different painting prospective is't just so smart!

    Great stuff. I have often considered buying a painting tutorial DVD but always been put off by the price. Not any more - I will certainly be ordering the pack.
