Catching up with four doors on a day ;)

Throughout today we will be catching up with our doors ;)

A weekend full of necessary sleep will be wrapped up with Question & Answers videos four, five and six behind doors 12, 13 and 14.

And then, later tonight, we will finally reveal more details on the upcoming Season 1.2 and 1.3 (Teasers here and here) behind door 15. We are very excited about these releases and we think, so should you ;)

Tiles & prizes

Another tile is revealed and two more letters for the secret key-phrase that can give you the chance to win the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE can be found in today's video.

One of the Q&A videos will reveal what the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE is, by the way ;)

Today's daily giveaway - which you can enter by simply sharing this post (or our FB post) with your friends on Facebook or Google+ is another miniature sponsored by Sergeant Blackart. It has again been sponsored by none other than Rusto himself - thank you so much!

Chief Smokingclouds is waiting to be won by you ;) As with all giveaways of our "21 Days of Hoopy Holidays", today's daily prize will also be drawn among all entries on January 5th, 2014. All prizes will be sent out in January next year!

So, good luck to everyone!

And don't forget - 2 more doors coming today, plus more information on Season 1.2 and 1.3 later tonight - including something new for us:

Painting Buddha Adventskalender - Door 11: Season 1.3

Painting Buddha Adventskalender - Door #11

Season 1.3 Teaser!

When only announcing Season 1.2 is simply not hoopy enough!

After announcing our release of Season 1.2 - Freehands and Banners with Stephan Rath, we have another great announcement! Season 1.3!

And like Season 1.2 - a DVD that will teach you all the secrets about Freehand- and Banners-Painting by one of the Best at it - Stephan "Derwish" Rath - Season 1.3 will be a 'must have' for anyone who wants to 'learn to be a better painter!

But first you will have to watch the video to find out what it's all about :D

Release imminent!

Stay tuned for the release of and pre-order of both DVDs after this weekend! (Video will likely be up on Monday!)

We have received so many questions that we will also put up a few more Q&A videos over the weekend - so make sure that you get your questions in, below the Youtube videos.

Btw: I am still wondering why no-one has asked what the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE is that you can win during our "Hoopy Holidays" giveaway. (has been asked now)

You know what to do with the tile on the left ;) And you also know where to find the next two letters to our secret key-phrase! Don't cha?

Today's Giveaway prize is: A SECRET AGENT MAN MINIATURE! That's right! You won't have any idea what it is. Other than that it's going to be awesome ;)

SHARE & ENJOY this post with your friends on Facebook and Google+ to enter today's giveaway. And if you are uncertain of the rules, check out Door #2 once again!

More Happy Bruddhas around the globe!

Hey guys and gals!

We just received two emails from our new 'Bruddhas' Rob and Kieran.

Rob's email is actually a little older, as our fancy inbox sorting algorithm put his email into the wrong folder... SOMEONE must have set it up incorrectly... yeah... it was me :/ So, all your feedback mails went to some forgotten folder in some forgotten substructure... I'll reply to them soon™.

Kieran's mail is as fresh as freshly fallen snow, though ;)

I would like to share both with you:

Rob's unboxing video

The whole team had a lot of fun watching this video, as it was the first 'first impressions unboxing' we have seen of our Supporter Box. Actually it was quite exciting for us and we were glad that our careful packaging protected everything perfectly and nothing was broken :D

Lucky Kieran

Kieran wrote a very nice review / unboxing on his blog. He also found the legendary Bronze Ticket in his box and will receive a free Budget Box of Season 2.1 as soon as it becomes available next year.

So with Gold and Bronze gone, we wonder who will receive the Silver Ticket (a free Supporter Box for Season 2; Gold was a full private weekend workshop for two, btw!).

Check out Kieran's review on his blog:

Very value. Much beautiful! Such fair!

If you have not seen it yet, check out this video which explains in detail, what went into the box, shows you how each T-Shirt is hand-printed and finally reveals how much it actually costs to make the box! 100% Transparency incoming - as promised! :D

See for yourself why we think that supporting us is not the worst idea in the world.

Door #11 - Season 1.3 is coming to town!

Season 1.2 is almost here!

Who was the artist again?
Leave comments below!

Like the universe, the projects we are working on presently (because this is the time of the Ghost of the Present after all!)  are 'full of stars'.

Since we have another teaser announcement to make for tomorrow, we'll give you more information on season 1.2 over this weekend. If you want to find out what Season 1.2 might be about and who will be our 'star' painter, check out the teaser video below.

For now, you have to wait for the weekend until we reveal BOTH current projects. Actually, in addition to waiting and watching the video, you could also SHARE & ENJOY it! It releases stress and dizziness from anticipation! :D

If you are new to our blog and our Facebook page, you may not know who will be painting for our Season 1.2 DVD - but that secret was revealed a few weeks ago ;) (Hint: look at the Khemri!)

Tile & prize of the day

Like the video, today's post will be short and sweet. Tile #10 is revealed and this time it actually shows something useful! Hm, what could that be?

Did you collect all of the other nine puzzle tiles so far? Do you have an idea, what this could be? Do the letters, that are only revealed in the videos start turning into words or even the secret key-phrase that will unlock your chance to the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE of our 21 days of giveaways???

And the easter-egg has also not been found yet... :D

Guys, you got your work cut out for you this weekend!!! So quickly SHARE & ENJOY this blog entry on Facebook or Google+ for your chance to win this miniature, sculpted by Jun-Sik Ahn and sponsored by our South Korean friends at Nuts Planet.

We will even do a review before we send it out - and I can already tell you that you will have a hard time finding a better cast mini anywhere. It's gorgeous!

Painting Buddha Adventskalender - Door #9:

inb4 100% Transparency

Congratulations, bruddhas!

Hey everyone! We are a little late on our door #9 but we'll make up for lost time over the weekend as those videos are mostly prepared ;)

Late last night (or was it early morning) we had a pretty fun idea for door #9 and throughout the day, we added a couple of segments to our video.

I can really say that, even though it's close to 4am, I have had an illegal amount of fun making this. ^^

The ghost of the past is history and Ben, the ghost of the present, is here! And he brings you 100% transparency and tidings of new releases!!

Pretty cool ghost, huh?

Questions incoming?

QUESTIONS
PLEASE :)

Explaining why we work the way we work is not easy - even in an 8 minute video. With today's video we at least hope to show you, HOW we work. After watching the video, I am sure, many of you have questions. And we will be happy to answer them all!

Put your questions in the comments under the Youtube video - and I think we'll be able to record some answers for you for the weekend!

Today's daily prize

One of you can win TWO painting buddha supporter shirts today!

One for you, and one for a friend/ girlfriend/ parents/ kids/ younameit. How could we not give some shirts away after we devoted so much time to them in today's video! And if you've seen the video, I am sure you wouldn't mind one ;)

All you need to do to enter is to SHARE & ENJOY our corresponding Facebook post with your friends on FB or Google+. Sharing twice is not only twice as nice, but it also gives you two tickets to win!

The picture slowly starts to show!

Tile #9. Hmmmmmm...

Today's tile slowly completes the picture of our 'glance into the future' - and the pairs of letters that you will find in each day's Youtube video slowly turn into words... Don't they? ;)

It seems that some key tiles are still missing, but we are getting closer every day!

Even I am getting excited - and I already know all the answers :D

I urge you to participate or else you will be very disappointed when you hear what the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE is...

First week of "21 Days of Hoopy Holidays" - summary

21 Days of Hoopy Holidays - week 1

The ghost of the past will be history tonight!

8 doors open - lucky 13 to go!

So many of you have SHARED and enjoyed our Adventskalender in the last week. Every share is a ticket for a daily prize - and as you can see, we have some really nice prizes lined up for you!

If, for example, you shared Door #3 on Facebook or Google+ you automatically enter in the drawing for the daily prize on door 3: "Luz, New York" - a stunning miniature by Nocturna. Behind the doors you will find miniatures from Sergeant Blackart, Heroes & Villans, JMD and from yours truly, paintingbuddha.com.

Here's a summary of all the previously opened doors for your convenience:

Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Day 5 - Day 6 - Day 7 - Day 8

The plot thickens - Tile-o-mania!

It started all with this tile behind door 2

8 of the 20 tiles have been revealed. Can you guess the complete picture yet? And did you know that, even though you can find the tiles in the daily post on this blog, the two letters that come with each of the tile can only be found in the Youtube Videos?

Those letters, once the puzzle is assembled, will reveal a secret key-phrase that you will need to unlock the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE.

I am surprised no-one asked what that is yet, as we totally would have answered it... Maybe next week ;)

Let the past be past

Tonight, the Ghost of the Past will turn over the baton to the Ghost of the Present. And he will do so with one of the probably most important videos of our Adventskalender.

So before the Ghosts of the Past finally and unexpectedly vanishes in a puff of logic, he has some final message for you.

And everyone who already supported us by purchasing one of our miniature painting instruction DVDs 'Season 1.1: Target Identified" will have reason to be very happy.

And everyone who is still considering to support us will find reasons enough to do so. Stay tuned! Soon™

The hunt for the Easter Egg continues!

When I thought about the easter egg, I did not know how much you guys would be looking for it!

It is fair to say that no-one got the right answer yet, but ONE of you is VERY very close to solving the riddle. We will be very specific as to the solution, but you are on the right path, Bruddhas!

And for those of you who don't know what I am talking about - I have mischievously hidden an 'easter egg' in the Answer-o-mat. And the first person to find it will win a Budget Box of our Season 1.1 - Target Identified! (And should he or she already own that, some of our future releases instead).

And no - my noggin might be shaped like one, but it is NOT the easter egg :D

Q&A videos are here to stay!

Where or what is the easter egg?

The Q&A videos seem to be rather popular - and we have many, many more questions that need answering. Therefore we have decided to keep posting Q&A videos in the future - outside the Advent calendar schedule -  to answer your questions!

The last couple of questions have been very interesting, and I love to get deeper into some of these - so we will introduce something 'very special' with our next Answer-o-mat. The BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL! Hahah! Teaser Alert! :P

Thanks to all of you who participate and make it as interactive and as much fun for us as we hope it is fun for you :)

You are all especially hoopy froods!

Q&A Part 3

"What is best in life?"

A just question, Jason Thompson!

Find out what our Answer-o-Mat has to say about this! Part 3 is up there on Youtube - and with it the first 42 of your questions are answered! The easter egg has still not been found!

As I indicated in the last post, I think we will be continuing to do something similar with the remaining questions - of which there are many!

So without further ado, her is our Adventskalendar's Door #8:

Tiles, key-phrases and prizes galore!

Today I feel we have revealed the first really exciting tile - a telling tile so to speak. But WHAT exactly does it tell us? You will have to collect all 21 tiles in order to find your answer. Arrange them and the two letters that you will find in every Youtube-Video will magically make sense! And that knowledge could be enough to grant you a chance to win the ULTIMATE GRAND PRIZE!

Believe me, you do NOT want to miss this! Don't tell me, I didn't tell you :D

Daily giveaway prize

Today's giveaway prize is the Happy Monk, which usually only is available to our supporters through the web-shop. Our first workshop in Hamburg featured this beautiful miniature, sculpted by Ernst Veingart.

All you have to do to be able to win is to SHARE our post on Facebook with your friends. EVERY SHARE counts as a ticket, so sharing it on your timeline and on miniature painting pages will increase your chances. Just sayin' ;)

Next week's calendar. Leaving the past behind

The ghost of the past will be history when we wrap up our first year of our Painting Revolution by sharing something with you that no other company would share. That's all that I will tell you for now. You won't believe your eyes and ears and especially our Bruddhas will be very happy.

Here a quick summary of all of the open doors:

Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4 - Day 5 - Day 6 - Day 7

The past is behind us. The ghost of the present is coming! Stay tuned.
